Clearance from floor to bottom of table top is 25.5”.
Leaves are for occasional use only. Keeping the table extended with the leaves in at all times is not recommended as this could cause the table top to sag over time (due to its weight and gravity).
On table tops with recessed aprons, the table top is 1.5” thick and the recessed apron is 2.5” (equalling the same 4” apron as on the original table).
Wood grain runs across the width of the table (not along the length).
A retractable, drop down leg is necessary to support the table halves when the 96”l is opened. Tables ordered in the 96”l size will automatically be fabricated with this additional leg.
